By acquiring and holding land in trust, purchase price/rental costs are lowered, making housing more affordable.


In addition to holding land in trust, the Trust acts as a partner organization with municipalities, developers and other non profits, offering guidance, and assistance in regulation and administrative matters. It is a fundraiser, educator, research vehicle and advocate.


The trust is an independant nonprofit. Contributions of funds, land, and/or buildings are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
